Aloha families!
I’m Evelyn.
I was born and raised in Southern California. Moving to Hawai’i over 6 years ago was a must as I wanted to do life by the warm waters where I learned to surf and sail.
I strive to live life with purpose through intention so working with littles where I get to witness their resilience and humor brings joy I love surrounding myself with. I aim to stay in a child-like mindset in life. I think I learn as much from them as they may learn from me.
My experience with keiki ranges over 15 years, from volunteer to professional settings in and outside the education system. I have worked with and enjoy all ages from New Born to High Schoolers.
I just graduated from UH Spring 2025 with my BA in interdisciplinary studies focusing on communicology and cultural studies as a few of the disciplines.
I wanted to join the Ola Loa Swim Academy as I wanted to gain some new skill sets in this environment as well as be a part of a team teaching keiki drowning prevention skills and safety in the water.
Stoked to get to be a part of this new journey with your little ones!
