Got Questions?
Let's answer a few common ones.

What program is right for me?
It totally depends on your goal for your child, and also your preferred method of instruction. We recommend you choose the program that fits your goal, the comfort level of your engagement, and your time commitment.Once you feel comfortable you can always switch to another program – however, it is always best to stay until a skill is mastered before switching.

How many swim lessons will it take?
Kid's aren't cookie cutter learners. We can't determine the length of time it will take for a child to obtain swim skills based on age alone. Each child comes with their own preferences and learning style. Our instructors meet the child where they are at and helps to build their skills based on them individually.
Majority of students need 30 consistent lessons to learn + keep new skills .

What if my child cries or is afraid?
Our instructors meet the children where they are at. If your child is crying or afraid this is a totally normal reaction to meeting somone new, learning something new and trying something new. Our instrcutors first work on building trust, which then leads to a postive learning enviroment with reduced tears. There still may be tears but it usally is because they now want to stay and swim longer.

Do I get in the water with my child?
Depending on the program, will determine if you are in the water with your child or not.
For ISR lessons parents are only allowed in the water once the skills have been achieved.
Baby + Me group lessons parents are in Water!

Should I feed my child before a swim lesson?
ISR Lessons have a strict diet protocol, which will be sent to you with general information about lessons. All students should refrain from milk, applesauce or anything heavy for 2 hours before lessons. If your child is hangry, please give them food that is easy on their tummy.
